Zach Eflin is once again on the disabled list with an undetermined injury. The Phillies quietly made the move after Eflin’s last Triple-A start Friday.
Eflin struggled in his last start with the IronPigs, his first since being optioned back to the minors. Eflin gave up four runs on eight hits and a walk in four innings. He didn’t give up any runs in his first two minor-league starts this season, but this most recent one rose his ERA for the year at Lehigh Valley to 2.57.
Eflin made eight starts with the major-league club this season after Clay Buchholz landed on the 60-day disabled list.
