My favorite aspect of baseball is studying and weighing prospects, especially in the last few years as the Phillies were forced to develop a new, young core of talent. Watching prospects make it to the big club makes the waiting and hoping all the more worth it.
We will get the opportunity to watch another prospect attempt to graduate to a permanent spot in the Majors with righty Zach Eflin slated to start on Tuesday afternoon against the Blue Jays.
Eflin joined the Phillies organization in December of 2014 when he was dealt from the San Diego Padres to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and then flipped immediately to the Phillies in the Jimmy Rollins deal with Los Angeles.
