PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies' bullpen continues to struggle.
After Rhys Hoskins hit a two-out, game-tying double in the eighth inning off a 101.3-mph fastball from Cardinals reliever Jordan Hicks, Phillies right-hander Seranthony Dominguez allowed a game-winning home run to Matt Carpenter in the ninth inning in a 7-6 loss to the Cardinals at Citizens Bank Park.
Phillies right-hander Vince Velasquez pitched well through six innings, but things went south after he put two on with one out in the seventh.
