Phillies open three-game set against Marlins on Labor Day

After scoring just four total runs in a weekend series against the Chicago Cubs, the Philadelphia Phillies are in Miami to take on the Marlins. The Marlins are 29 games under .500, but like the Phillies, are 4-6 in their last 10 games. Currently, the Phillies sit four games out of first place in the National League East and with the Marlins being out of contention, the Phillies need to capitalize.

Vince Velasquez will open up the series on an extra day of rest after Aaron Nola was bumped up a spot in the rotation to throw at home against the Cubs.
