PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Phillies will look to snap a seven-game losing streak tonight as they open a three-game series with the Cincinnati Reds at Citizens Bank Park.
This season-long losing streak has dropped the Phillies record to 19-33 for the season and they are back in last place in National League East.
The Reds come to town in fourth place in National league Central with a 22-27 mark, but they are playing pretty good baseball right now after sweeping a three-game series from the Washington Nationals.
Sean O’Sullivan will get the start for the Phillies in this series opener.
