Matt Klentak and Gabe Kapler took a lot of heat for mixing and matching to the extreme last season. An over reliance on relievers, poorly executed defensive shifts, multiple lineups, players in the wrong defensive positions, players in too many defensive positions, and a maddening usage of the entire 40-man roster in September may have all contributed to the Phillies' late collapse.
