Phillies Minor League Report: Tom Windle struggles during Reading loss

Here’s how the Phillies’ minor league teams fared on Tuesday, April 21:

Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A

The IronPigs used 14 hits to defeat the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, 6-1, Tuesday night at PNC Field in Moosic.

Third baseman Maikel Franco went 2-for-5 with an RBI. Franco is batting .352 on the year.

Designated hitter Chris Nelson also went 2-for-5 and knocked in two runs for Lehigh Valley.

Domonic Brown struggled in his rehab start, going 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Starting pitcher Severino Gonzalez earned his first win of the season. Gonzalez went six innings, striking out three and allowing one earned run on six hits.
