Here’s how the Phillies’ minor league teams fared on Monday, May 11:
Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A
The IronPigs’ offensive woes continued Monday, and they cost them the series opener against the Columbus Clippers by a score of 6-2 at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown.
Maikel Franco provided the majority of the IronPigs’ offense Monday, as he recorded two of the team’s five hits, including a two-run homer during the fourth inning.
The Lehigh Valley pitching staff had as rough outing as the lineup, as they gave up 12 hits to the Clippers.
