Here’s how the Phillies’ minor league teams fared on Sunday, June 7:
Lehigh Valley IronPigs (21-37) – Triple A
The IronPigs were kept from crossing the plate until the final two innings during a 5-2 loss to the Indianapolis Indians Sunday at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown.
With the win, the Indians completed a three-game sweep of the IronPigs.
The IronPigs were held to only seven hits Sunday with four of them came during the eighth and ninth innings. One of the hits resulted in a home run, as Chris McGuiness launched the ball over the right field wall during the ninth.
