Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A
The IronPigs weren’t able to produce enough offense to get past the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders Wednesday night, falling 3-2, at PNC Field.
Lehigh Valley left nine men on base and were just 2-for-9 with runners in scoring position.
Adam Morgan provided the IronPigs with a quality start, giving up three runs on seven hits in seven innings of work. Despite his efforts, Morgan earn his second loss of the season.
Third baseman Maikel Franco was 1-for-4 with a strikeout.
