Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A
Lehigh Valley traveled to Scranton Wilkes-Barre for a doubleheader on Thursday night. In the first game, the IronPigs could only manage six hits but failed to push a runner across the plate in a 5-0 loss.
Kelly Dugan and Tommy Joseph were the only players to have extra base hits for Lehigh, both doubles.
Jesse Biddle struggled to find his rhythm, lasting just 4 2/3 innings. He gave up 10 hits and all five runs. He struck out two batters.
