Lehigh Valley IronPigs (20-34) – Triple A
The IronPigs dropped both ends of doubleheader with the Rochester Red Wings Wednesday at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown by scores of 7-4 and 2-3, extending their losing streak to three games.
In the first game, the IronPigs were held to only four runs despite racking up 12 hits against the Rochester pitching staff.
The IronPigs’ best offensive inning was the third, when they plated three runs to tie the game, 4-4. Unfortunately, for the IronPigs, those was their final runs of the contest.
