Phillies-Mets get rained out; Hector Neris still has Gabe Kapler's confidence

The Phillies-Mets game has been rained out. It will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Aug. 16 beginning at 4:05 p.m.

This is the second time this season a Phillies-Mets game has been rained out. On April 2nd, Citi Field was unplayable, leading to a doubleheader taking place on July 9.

Gabe Kapler remembers April 29, 2017, as the night that Cody Bellinger hit the first two home runs of his major-league career, a proud moment for Kapler in his role at the time as the Los Angeles Dodgers’ farm director.
