The Phillies invited five players to spring training on Wednesday: infielders Emmanuel Burriss and Ryan Jackson and righthanded pitchers Frank Herrmann, Chris Leroux and Reinier Roibal. They are nonroster players signed to minor league contracts.
Pitchers and catchers report to Clearwater on Feb. 18. The Phillies' first full-squad workout is scheduled for Feb. 23.
