Contrary to reports the Phillies were “zeroing in” on Lehigh Valley manager Dusty Wathan MLB.com’s Todd Zolecki reports the Phillies are not done interviewing candidates.
Zolecki reports the team interviewed former Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell, although it’s not clear when that meeting was, or whether or not the interview was for their manager position or pitching coach.
Farrell was fired by Boston following their playoff exit despite winning the World Series in 2012 and finishing atop the American League East. He was previously with the Toronto Blue Jays for two seasons before they allowed him to leave for Boston.
