- Realmuto fouled a ball off his left knee in the second inning during a game on Sept. 6 in Miami. He remained in the game until being pinch-hit for in the top of the fourth inning. The Phillies announced Realmuto was removed from the game with a left knee bruise.
- On Saturday, Rob Thomson told reporters, including Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer, that Realmuto was sore and dealing with some swelling in his left knee.
