The Latest Phillies Injury Updates
- Alec Bohm (left hand discomfort)
- Status: Out of the lineup for Aug. 30 game vs. Braves
- Bohm was removed from the Aug. 29 game against the Braves with what the Phillies said was “left hand discomfort.” He was in some pain after fouling off a pitch in a first inning at-bat against Charlie Morton. Manager Rob Thomson initially feared that he suffered a hamate injury, but it appears the Phillies have avoided the worst case scenario. “The X-rays, there was no structural damage,” Thomson said.
