After sweeping the Nationals and Mets in back-to-back series, the Phillies have lost back-to-back series to the Dodgers and Reds, though they have not allowed themselves to be swept. They remain over .500, with a 61-57 record.
The good news is that they have one of the easiest schedules for the remaining weeks of the regular season, starting with the 38-81 Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
In fact, seven of the Phillies’ next 12 games are against the Dbacks, providing them a golden opportunity to pad their win record.
