The Philly area has been buried in a foot and a half of snow during a blizzard that crushed the area overnight from Friday into today. The snow began to fall lightly in my neighborhood in the Somerton section of the city at around 7pm on Friday night. By this morning, we were buried.
The club included a picture of Citizens Bank Park as it looks on Saturday morning, along with a message encouraging fans to get out and make the Phillies part of any snow fun that they might be able to enjoy during the day:
