Phillies' bullpen falters in 10-inning loss to Mets

NEW YORK - A late rally to take the lead went for naught Tuesday night as the Phillies' bullpen couldn't hold the lead in a 5-4, 10-inning loss to the New York Mets at Citi Field.

Wilmer Flores lined a walk-off single to left-center field to score Juan Lagares. The Phillies' loss was their sixth in their last eight games. It was also their sixth in seven games against the Mets this season and ensured them of a franchise-record seventh consecutive series loss to New York.

Lagares led off the 10th inning with single off Jeanmar Gomez.
