The Phillies have announced four additional cases of COVID-19 within the organization in recent days.
One additional player and two staff members in Clearwater have tested positive. In addition, one player who was not in Clearwater also tested positive. All other tests came back negative.
This comes just days after Jim Salisbury reported that five players and three staff members tested positive for the virus. More positive cases were expected as more test results came in.
The Phillies have kept their Clearwater complex closed since June 19 to all members of the organization.
