Former Phillies are scattered across Major League Baseball, but they all seemed to have come together for a reunion Tuesday night during an NLDS game in Los Angeles.
Four members of the 2008 World Series team left their mark in the Nationals 8-3 win over the Dodgers. Jayson Werth, Chase Utley, Carlos Ruiz, and Joe Blanton were all on hand and had a major impact on the final score, hitting a combined 5-6 with two home runs.
Werth hit a solo home run in the ninth inning against Kenley Jansen, while also adding a game-tying RBI double early in the game.
