One of the many rewarding aspects of "Baseball Twitter" is the insight one gets into the non-baseball interests of others who closely follow the sport. For example, I've come to understand that professional wrestling was not a fad confined to the late-90s. In fact, people still follow the sport, if one feels comfortable calling it that, with passion. I never got into wrestling when it was broadly popular so have even less an idea than most about what people are talking about when my timeline is flooded with commentary on a major wrestling event.
It might be helpful to previewing Cameron Rupp if I was hip to the goings on of professional wrestling, because, as best I can tell, he has the body for it.
