Since the all-star break the Philadelphia Phillies own a record of 17-7, after going 29-62 in the first half of the season.
Now this turn around has been a complete team effort but, one aspect of the team that you can point to and say “that’s why the Phillies have turned it around this half” is the great play out of second baseman Cesar Hernandez and center fielder Odubel Herrera as the one and two hitters in this team’s lineup.
