Maikel Franco has been one of the only beacons of hope in this lost season for the Philadelphia Phillies. Since being called up, Franco is batting .277 with 13 home runs and 48 RBIs.
The 22-year old has been in the conversation for rookie of the year and appears to be a rising star for this Phillies team. However after recently being placed on the DL for a wrist injury, it is uncertain whether he will play another game this season.
After getting hit by a pitch in a game against the Brewers, Franco has been placed on the 15-day DL.
