But is the nicest city in America? Phillies manager and Chicago native (University of Illinois at Chicago graduate) Pete Mackanin said yes, a day before the Phillies open a three-game series at Wrigley Field against the Cubs.
94WIP Morning Show host Angelo Cataldi, a Mackanin fan, questioned the manager’s honesty about Chicago on Friday morning.
“Pete Mackanin, who I love — I mean, I have to go back to Dallas Green to find a manager I like the way I like this manager,” Cataldi said.
