Atlanta, GA - Philadelphia Phillies' (56-92) rookie southpaw Adam Morgan suffered a tough defeat in Friday evening's series opener against right hander Williams Perez and the Atlanta Braves (58-90).

Even though Morgan only surrendered two runs tonight on six hits, the Phillies' offense ultimately was shut down, as they went 0-11 with runners in scoring position and left 12 runners on base.
