Oh, right, yeah: D'Backs 13, Phils 3

Anyone lulled into a definitely false sense of security in the Phillies non-garbage status was rudely awakened today.

Bad things happened. Lots of them. All of them. All of the bad things.

Aaron Harang pitched poorly, allowing eight runs in 5.1 innings. Adam Loewen pitched poorly, allowing two runs in a third of an inning. Justin De Fratus pitched poorly, allowing three runs in 1.1 innings.

There's a theme there.

The Phils did score three runs, which a month ago would have been a noteworthy accomplishment. Maikel Franco continued to impress, hitting his 22nd double and 13th home run of the year; and Chase Utley, leading off again but playing first base, was 1 for 3 with an RBI sac fly.
