It’s still unclear where Chase Utley will be in 2016 or what his role might be, but as far as the rest of this season goes, it looks like the six-time National League All-Star will be staying with the Phillies.
At least that’s what general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said Tuesday morning on the 94 WIP Morning Show.
“As I told you before, it’s very likely he’ll be here in Philadelphia though the end of the year and then we’ll see what happens after that,” Amaro said.
Utley has been involved in a number of trade rumors since returning from the disabled list Aug.
