Nola's 11-K roll slowed by Cubs' 3-HR surge

PHILADELPHIA -- Both Aaron Nola's Cy Young hopes and the Phillies' postseason hunt took a hit with an 8-1 loss to the Cubs on Sunday at Citizens Bank Park.

Nola struck out 11 batters in 5 2/3 innings, but that mattered little because he left with a four-run deficit after allowing three home runs for the second time in his career; Daniel Murphy, Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez took Nola deep with solo shots.

The loss, Nola's fourth, marked his second straight home start that the Phillies dropped after winning every one of his first 12 at home this season.
