MIAMI -- Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola needed to pitch like an ace Wednesday night at Marlins Park and he did.
He allowed just four hits in 7 1/3 scoreless innings in a 6-0 victory over the Marlins, salvaging a win in the finale of the three-game series. Nola retired 17 consecutive batters after allowing a walk to Lewis Brinson in the second inning.
Cesar Hernandez hit the fifth leadoff homer of his career to get things going for the Phillies' offense.
