New documents show Pete Rose bet on baseball games as player

Notebook pages obtained by ESPN's Outside the Lines indicate that baseball all-time hits leader Pete Rose did indeed bet on games in which he was a player, after years of denial. Rose finally admitted in 2004 that he had bet on games as a manager, 15 years after the initial Dowd Report got him banned for life from the sport, but had always maintained his innocence when it came to betting on games in which he played.
