PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies moved outfielder Daniel Nava to the 10-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring Tuesday afternoon. Left-hander Adam Morgan replaced Nava on the active roster to bolster the bullpen.
Phillies manager Pete Mackanin is hopeful that Nava, who got hurt in a win over the Pirates on Friday, will miss the minimum amount of time, but wanted to get some extra roster help in the meantime.
"He still feels tightness," Mackanin said. "I don't want to go five or six or seven days to wait and see if he'll be OK.
