Morton exits with left hamstring strain

Left-hander Brett Oberholtzer replaced Morton, who gave up a Jonathan Lucroy RBI single in the first, on the mound.

Morton entered the night 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA in three starts, although he had allowed just one run in 12 2/3 innings in his last two outings. He permitted seven hits, six walks and struck out 13 batters in that two-start stretch against the Padres and Nationals.

It is unknown whether Morton will make his next start, but if he is unable to pitch, a likely candidate to take his spot in the rotation is Triple-A Lehigh Valley left-hander Adam Morgan, who is 1-1 with a 3.
