MLB Rumor Central: Will Bailey be the Phillies' closer?

The Philadelphia Phillies have announced that Jeremy Hellickson will be their Opening Day starter, but they still need a closer.

With spring training winding down, several candidates appear to be in the running for the job. Andrew Bailey looks like the front-runner, according to MLB.com's Todd Zolecki, while David Hernandez and Dalier Hinojosa could also be in the mix. Hernandez was believed to originally be the favorite for the job, but soreness in his right triceps has slowed him down.

Bailey, a two-time All-Star as a closer with the Oakland Athletics before injuries derailed his career, started camp with four scoreless outings before giving up three runs to the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday.
