The MLB regular season is just over a week away and free-agent outfielder Angel Pagan has yet to sign a new contract.
However, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports that the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies are both interested in the 35-year-old veteran's services.
According to Heyman, Pagan had a deal in place with the Baltimore Orioles earlier this month before it fell through because of issues with a physical. Since then, Pagan slashed .286/.371/.969 across 35 at-bats while playing for runner-up Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic.
