As the MLB Draft moves away from the Combine that took place in Arizona and moves into the final laps towards the start of the event, the rumor mill is starting to kick into higher gear. More and more “draft experts” feel like they’re getting a better read on what teams are looking to do, so what better time to see where the chips are going to fall than right now. The Phillies are taking players towards the bottom of each round, so while the players available aren’t going to be the cream of the crop, there are still good players to add to the minor league development system.
