Third baseman Alec Bohm sat out this most recent week of the minor-league season due to an injury he suffered as a member of the Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
Demoted by the Phillies on Aug. 22, Bohm last played for Lehigh Valley on Aug. 29. The IronPigs went 3-3 in their series against Syracuse at Coca-Cola Park in his absence.
Lehigh Valley is now 48-58 on the season; Double-A Reading is 44-64; High-A Jersey Shore is 49-57; Low-A Clearwater is 47-56; the Florida Complex League Phillies are 21-11.
Bohm deals with injury
Bohm did not play at all in the IronPigs’ six games against the Syracuse Mets as he dealt with an injury.
