Lehigh Valley 5, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 3: RF Dylan Cozens’ three-run homer punctuated a five-run seventh inning as the IronPigs (77-62) kept their faint playoff hopes alive.
1B Christian Marrero singled in J.P. Crawford and Cameron Perkins for Lehigh Valley’s first two runs. Crawford, playing shortstop, went 1-for-4 with a double.
RH Drew Anderson allowed two runs, one earned, in 6.2 innings, but did not figure in the decision. Michael Mariot (7-2, 4.42) got the final out in the top of the seventh for the win.
