The game, still in the close rearview mirror.
It’s all still right there, fresh in our memories. A game in which the team seemed to be ready to win following the near miraculous comeback on Sunday. They had the vaunted “momentum” on their side and even in the first inning, they had some hard hit balls that made you forget all about any potential shadows creeping across the batter’s eye.
And then in a blink, the team was done.
It’s hard to think when the team looked worse than they did last night.
