Phillies avoid sweep thanks to the extra inning heroics of Peter Bourjos
The Phillies salvaged a three game series against their rivals in the extra inning finale.
The game began seemingly where last night's left off: The first batter, Curtis Granderson, immediately doubled to right field. Luckily, the Mets failed to score in the inning. They did, however, manage to get to SP Jeremy Hellickson in a dramatic second inning. Once again, the inning began with a double, this time from Lucas Duda. He was followed by a single from Walker to put runners on the corners.
