"I try not to think about any of that stuff," Kendrick said about the Trade Deadline. "My agents called me a few times, but I haven't heard if anything is even close. When it happens, it will happen."
Kendrick, 34, tried to swing a bat before Friday night's game against the Braves at Citizens Bank Park, but he said he could not swing at 100 percent. He plans to increase the intensity Saturday.
Kendrick is hitting .343 with eight doubles, one triple, two home runs, 16 RBIs and an .853 OPS in 154 plate appearances, but he has been on the disabled list.
