Phillies fans can expect to hear more of John Kruk and his wonderful stories and complaints for future broadcasts to come.
Kruk, a Phillies Wall of Fame former player and fan-favorite color commentator on local game telecasts, signed a four-year contract to continue with NBC Sports Philadelphia this offseason, per the reporting in a Friday afternoon feature story from Philadelphia magazine about Kruk, his path to his current role and his stature in the city. The three-time All-Star will keep calling Phillies games alongside veteran play-by-play voice Tom McCarthy as part of a group of regular analysts that also includes former Phillies outfielder and executive Ruben Amaro Jr.
