PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Jimmy Rollins returns to South Philadelphia Tuesday night for the first time as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers as the Phils and LA open a three-game series.
Rollins is the Phillies’ all-time hit leader. He was a critical piece of the Phillies team that won five straight National League East titles from 2007-2011, a run which included the 2008 World Series title and the 2009 National League pennant. The Phils dealt him to the Dodgers this past off-season in the deal that brought RHP Zach Eflin and LHP Tom Windle to the organization (both currently with Double-A Reading).
