After the bullpen coughed up yet another lead, Scott Kingery came through late to walk the game off in the eleventh. No better time for his first homer of the season!
Andrew McCutchen started the scoring off with a solo homer in the bottom of the third off Braves’ starter Robbie Erlin. Fitting that the man most behind the Phils’ decision not to play yesterday would open the scoring on Jackie Robinson Day. When he crossed the plate, he patted the Jackie Robinson Day patch on his shoulder.
