The Philadelphia Phillies (73-52) kicked off their final trip to Georgia this season with a 3-1 loss to the Atlanta Braves (67-58), falling to 2-5 against their rivals with six meetings left to play.
Zack Wheeler went six innings and gave up only two runs, a feat he has matched or bettered in each of his last four starts, along with eight strikeouts including three in the first inning.

But those two runs were all the Braves needed to outpace the struggling Phils’ offense.
