The Philadelphia Phillies’ World Series run ended less than a week ago, but with free agency underway, Dave Dombrowski and the front office have some decisions to make this offseason.
Last offseason, Phillies ownership decided to go into the luxury tax threshold for the first time in franchise history. Following a playoff run that ended two games shy of a World Series championship, it is safe to assume they will pay the tax once again in 2023.
While there are some question marks about what the Phillies roster will look like on Opening Day, much of the team is already put together.
