How good has the Phillies offense been so far?

With the score tied 1-1 in the 4th inning of Thursday night’s marathon 4-2 loss in 11 innings to the Braves, Alec Bohm was looking at a small measure of redemption in the face.

To say the long-haired third baseman has been struggling to start the season is an understatement. Hitting .160 on the season with a 2% walk rate, Bohm had runners on 1st and 2nd with two out against Atlanta right-hander Spencer Schwellenbach and an opportunity to kick start his season.

He grounded out.

He wasn’t alone. All week long, the Phils wasted opportunities to put runs on the board against the Braves.
