Hoskins’ big night carries Phillies over Rockies

Final Score: Phillies 7, Rockies

On a night when their ace did not have his best stuff, the Phillies needed a lift from their offense. They got it from Rhys Hoskins.

Aaron Nola battled through seven innings, Hoskins hit two home runs and the Phillies evened up the series against the Colorado Rockies at one.

It was a much-needed win for the Phillies, who cannot afford to drop another series on the road. They improve to 10-10 on the season, and sit tied for first place in the National League East.
