The Phillies slugger clubbed his 21st home run of the season in the fourth inning Saturday night against Reds right-hander Matt Harvey, who retired the first nine batters he faced, at Great American Ball Park. Hoskins hit a 1-0 fastball 419 feet, as projected by Statcast™. The ball left his bat at 106 mph.
The homer handed the Phillies a 2-1 lead.
Hoskins has hit seven home runs in his past eight games.
